Latest Development in Data Mining--The 8th China Conference on Data Mining

The 8th China Conference on Data Mining (CCDM 2020) was held on 17-19th August, 2020 in Changsha, Hunan Province. Co-hosted by CCF and CAAI, supported by CCF TC on Artificial Intelligence & Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning committee of CAAI, and Hunan Association for Science and Technology, CCDM 2020 is co-organized by Hunan University, Hunan Computer Federation, and AC in Changsha of CCF YOCSEF.
With a blend of online and offline, CCDM 2020 invited many prominent researchers, including Professor Zhou Zhihua (Nanjing University), Professor Qin Bing (Harbin Institute of Technology), Dr. Long Mingsheng (Tsinghua University), Professor Lu Kai (National University of Defense Technology), Dr. Li Hang (Huawei Noah’s ark Lab), Professor Liu Qi (University of Science & Technology of China) to have keynote speeches.
There are 7 breakout sessions, including agent and multi-agent system, knowledge representation and reasoning, intelligent software engineering, low-quality data mining and learning, clustering analysis, social network analysis and mining, medical data analysis and mining, and 2 featured forums, as artificial intelligence education and female scientists in artificial intelligence.
More than 400 representatives from research institutions, universities and enterprises engaged in data mining technology development attended the conference, and over 50000 online watched in Zoom, Tencent conference platform and live broadcast in Station Bilibili.
