The 2023 International School in Informatics "Junior" (ISIJ 2023) was held online from July 1 to July 7, 2023.

There are total 252 players and 80 coaches from 13 countries and regions participating in ISIJ 2023. CCF sent a Chinese team consisting of 42 players to participate in ISIJ 2023, which is also the sixth time that CCF organized a Chinese team in this competition.

ISIJ 2023 includes five competition systems: Training Tour, Math Tour, Coder Tour, Marathon Tour, and Estafette Tour. The first four competitions are divided into two groups: Group A and B, and the difficulty of test questions in Group A is higher. Participants can voluntarily register and choose the group according to their age requirements. Mathematics competition, code competition, and marathon competition will be awarded based on group A and B.

The Chinese team has 31 players registered for Group A and 11 players registered for Group B. The contestants performed excellent: in Math Tour there are 32 players won the winners and 8 won the Prize-Winners; In the Coder Tour, 24 people won the Winners and 16 people won the Prize-Winners; in Marathon Tour, Chinese Team received 25 golds, 12 silvers, and 4 bronze medals; and in the Estafette Tour, they received 4 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals  with a total score ranking the first among all participating teams!
