On October 26, 2023, CCF and IEEE CS held a meeting in Shenyang, to discuss further cooperation and update the memorandum of cooperation.

CCF delegation including Mei Hong, President of CCF, Tang Weiqing, CEO of CCF, Chen Xilin, Director of CCF International Cooperation Committee, Du Zide, CCF Advisor and Former CEO, and Ms. Song Huan, VP of CCF; and IEEE CS delegation including Nita Patel, Chairman of IEEE CS, Melissa Russell, Secretary General, Ray Liu, former Chairman of IEEE, and Hua Ning, Senior Director of IEEE Asia Pacific, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chen Xilin.

Mr.  Tang Weiqing, CEO of CCF and Ms. Nita Patel, IEEE CS Chairman, renewed and signed the memorandum of cooperation in the meeting, while all participants witnessed.

Since the first MOU between CCF and IEEE CS signed in 2009, both parties have engaged in a series of in-depth cooperation to serve CCF members. As partner of CNCC, IEEE CS invites overseas senior speakers to CNCC. On the basis of in-depth understanding and mutual trust, a joint award-- CCF-IEEE CS Young Computer Science Award established in 2017 and follow international practices. Previously, both sides also sent delegates to exchange visits and exchanges every year.
