CCF Outstanding Education Award is awarded to educators who have made outstanding contributions in the computer education including ideology, methods, teaching, curriculum reform, and talent cultivation, or have made significant contributions to promote the reform and development of computer education in China. (The 2024 CCF Outstanding Education Award will be released in the coming FCES 2024 in Shenyang).

CCF Award Committee decided to award Professor Zang Binyu of Shanghai Jiaotong University and Professor Zheng Li of Tsinghua University with 2024 CCF Outstanding Education Award to commend their outstanding contributions to the development of China higher education.

Details:

Professor Zang Binyu, Shanghai Jiaotong University, has been engaged in the innovation on the construction and teaching of computer system courses for a long time, effectively enhancing the  abilities of students majoring in computer science. He has made great achievements in the software engineering curriculum and the development of computer related professional education certification, computer education and teaching.

Professor Zheng Li, Tsinghua University, has been engaged in teaching basic courses on computer and has carried out in-depth reforms in programming courses. She has achieved remarkable results in the practice of MOOCs, and has led the development of a series of educational informatization standards and computer core curriculum specifications, making outstanding contributions to the teaching of computer basic education.
